Bishop Tucker Theological College was launched in 1913 to train Ugandan church leaders. In 1997, the College became Uganda Christian University, offering more disciplines for study.
The Bishop Tucker School of Divinity and Theology (BTSDT) is a lively community of full- and part-time students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
BTSDT exists to:
- Train men and women for pastoral and academic ministries through having the knowledge and love of God.
- Train them in godly living.
- Equip them to preach, evangelize, teach, and pastor in the knowledge and love of God throughout the world, and
- Serve the community of God's people.
